Michael Neumann is a seasoned business executive with progressive operating and financial experience in various industries. Michael possess demonstrated leadership and significant accomplishments in strategic planning, merger and acquisitions, business startups, and turn around challenges.
Most recently, Michael served as Executive Director of The Shaw JCC of Akron, a nonprofit organization that creates community based on Jewish values by providing quality programs and services in a safe and secure environment for thousands of people of all ages. In this role, he oversaw a $4M budget and 200 person staff and recruited a Board of Directors to manage and turn around the 90-year-old organization to achieve record profitability.
Prior to The Shaw JCC of Akron, Michael served as Head of Business Improvement for A. Schulman, a plastics, chemicals and refining company that produces materials and products that are key to advancing solutions to modern challenges. In this role, he directed all activities associated with the sale of Network/Diamond Polymers to A. Schulman, including the agreed upon purchase price, all due diligence and completion of the asset purchase agreement.
Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bentley College in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College.
