The Northeast Ohio Startup Network

The Northeast Ohio Startup Network is a collaborative effort by regional resource providers to connect tech entrepreneurs to the space, capital, advice, support and connections needed to grow their businesses.

JumpStart manages this closely connected network of support organizations, all of whom are funded in part by Ohio Third Frontier and organized under the Entrepreneurial Services Provider (ESP) Program to support the 21 counties in the Northeast Ohio region.

The Cleveland Business Growth Collaborative

This coalition of 10 Cleveland organizations was convened by the Greater Cleveland Partnership’s Commission on Economic Inclusion and JumpStart, with support from the Cleveland Foundation, PNC Bank, the City of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Burton D. Morgan Foundation and the Gund Foundation.

The overarching goal of the Business Growth Collaborative is to improve the level of coordination among available entrepreneurial resources by breaking down barriers to business growth opportunities for historically disadvantaged communities.

The Northwest Ohio ESP Network

In Northwest Ohio, JumpStart also manages the collaborative work of four organizations supporting tech entrepreneurs as part of the Ohio Third Frontier’s Entrepreneurial Services Provider (ESP) Program.

JumpStart’s three partners in this collaborative network are ProMedica Innovations, Mercy Health and the University of Toledo.

Toledo Business Growth Collaborative

Convened by JumpStart, this collaborative network consists of existing small business assistance organizations in the Greater Toledo community.

Working together, these organizations are dedicated to finding and filling gaps in the service continuum and connecting their clients to the resources they need, wherever those resources are found.
