Register to Compete in the Civic Hackathon powered by The Valley Alliance for Science and Technology and The Tech Belt Energy Innovation Center.
On Friday, February 23, 2018, The Valley Alliance for Science and Technology in partnership with TBEIC will be hosting a Civic Hackathon through a partnership with the City of Warren’s Waste Water Department. The goal of the hackathon is to solve current issues and create new solutions for everyday operations. The winning team will win $1,000.00.
Anyone can register to participate in the Hackathon, an event where people get together and use technology and their collective skills to build solutions and solve problems around a common theme. It’s an opportunity to do good and make a difference in the community.
TBEIC is seeking: Project managers, engineers, developers, creatives, problem solvers, people working in economic development/ urban revitilization, accountants, attorneys, students, and the public to participate.
The winners of the Hackathon will be announced at the Mahoning Valley Engineer of the Year Awards Dinner directly following the Hackathon. All competitors are invited to attend the dinner for free.
