Bio:
Mark is an associate in McDonald Hopkins Intellectual Property Department. He handles all aspects of patent law, including prosecution, litigation, opinions, and transactions. He has a depth of knowledge in technical fields such as computer and cellular communications, electronics, electromechanics, bioelectronics, microprocessors, consumer products, and software systems. Mark has experience working with in-house counsel and inventors to develop patenting strategies, as well as preparing patentability issue reports. Mark is experienced in protecting trademark, copyright and trade secrets through procuring protection, litigation, and cease and desist letters.
Mark actively participates with the Patent Pro Bono Network through the Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He has assisted several inventors in various parts of the patent process as well as business planning.
Mark earned a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2012. He received a B.S. in computer science from the University of Dayton in 2008.
