Copyrights protect the works of authors and other content creators. In this session you can learn how to monetize your creations and ward off competitors. Jake Ward, Registered Patent Attorney, will discuss the basics of copyrighting for entrepreneurs and business people interested in learning more about what should be copyrighted (blogs, user manuals, literary works) and the steps that businesses should take to secure copyright protection.  There will also be an opportunity to ask questions. There is no charge to participate, but preregistration is required.

Participants will be given the option of attending in person, or joining us online. For those attending in-person, we will serve pizza and drinks immediately after the session. Those attending online will be emailed the meeting link during the week prior to the event. All participants will have the opportunity to schedule an individual follow up meeting with the presenter at no charge.
