Since it was founded in 2006 by Michael Recker and David Levine, Wireless Environment has expanded to a staff of 28 employees. They have been design leaders in the wireless LED lighting space since founding the company. Their vision is for lights that operate fully off grid or shift between wired and wireless. They have launched 16 wireless lights to date and will soon launch hybrid light fixtures that – like your laptops- are on the grid when needed and off the grid when convenient.

David Levine, President, has launched 21 consumer products and built a power tool company to $4 million in sales from start-up. A Senior Product Manager at Black & Decker and DeWalt from 1995 until 1999, he launched the rotary tool business. In 2000, he co-founded Home Products and launched eleven Kitchen Drawer Power Tools™, including the first miniature powered screwdriver. David earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in History from Washington University.
