The Northeast Ohio Hispanic Center for Economic Development announces an initiative to start, build and grow hyper-local, resident-owned businesses in the heart of the Clark-Fulton neighborhood. This is an exciting opportunity for the community to build on the momentum of the La Villa Hispana Redevelopment project aimed at revitalizing and stabilizing the W 25th and Clark Ave retail corridor. The deadline for applications is Friday, October 6th at 12 pm.
Over a two-year period, businesses will receive individualized support to assist in their growth while they are operating in a physical location. A prime retail location will be transformed to house local, resident-owned businesses. Accepted vendors will receive an award package to include:
*Subsidized rent
*Grand opening reception
*Business development services package provided by the Small Business Development Center program
(Accounting, Marketing and Financial Management)
*Northeast Ohio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce membership
The goal of the La Villa Hispana Business Incubator program is to create and grow young businesses by providing them with the necessary support, resources and technical services needed to be successful. The incubator is connected to the Small Business Development Center, so all this help is just a doorway away!
