The Venture Internship Program is a unique opportunity to join an innovative corporate venture team, developing expertise as junior analysts while supporting commercialization and venture investing projects.

You will have the opportunity to work with some of Ohio’s leading academic and research institutions including Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals of Cleveland, Kent State University, the University of Akron, ProMedica, Bon Secours Mercy Health, and NASA.

Learn by actively participating in research and analysis projects in partnership with healthcare and academic research institutions.

As a junior analyst, you will develop foundational skillsets and best practice expertise in market research, customer discovery, commercialization, go-to-market strategy, healthcare economics, valuation analysis and financial modeling.

Participant Requirements

To be eligible for this exciting opportunity, you must…

  • Be a graduate student or senior-level undergraduate
  • Have a STEM and/or business background
  • Possess a bias for action and be a proactive problem solver
  • Be interested in the entrepreneurial side of healthcare and the process of commercializing research breakthroughs
  • Be considering a career in health-tech startups, venture capital or consulting

Program Structure

The Venture Internship Program is…

  • A full-duration of two academic semesters ( ~6 months)
  • A paid position – approximately 20 hours per week
  • A project-based format (70% healthcare and biomedical innovations, 30% other verticals)
  • A virtual, online working structure
