Zerrine Bailey is the program manager for JumpStart’s newly launched Emerging Talent Network Program. In this capacity, she will help connect 11th grade aspiring students and 12th grade emerging students from eight targeted Cleveland Metropolitan School District high schools to career placement opportunities with local companies through summer internships and full-time job opportunities.
Zerrine has extensive nonprofit experience, and her strengths include program development, project management, creating innovative solutions and developing partnerships.
Most recently, she worked as the Alliance for a Healthier Generation Healthy Schools Program Manager for Cleveland Metropolitan School District. In this capacity, she worked with 78 schools within Cleveland Metropolitan School District to create healthier school environments.
Prior to her work at the Alliance, Zerrine was involved in workforce development through NewBridge Cleveland Center for Arts and Technology. As the Director of Student and Partner Services, she facilitated more than 30 community partnerships, resulting in the expansion of programming for youth and adult programs and helped develop and implement a vocational training program that achieved a 75% placement rate into employment.
Zerrine received her Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from Kent State University.
