Twyla Turner is an operations and event planning professional with over 12 years of progressive experience in the corporate and nonprofit sectors. She brings her unique flair for style and creativity to everything that she does. Executives, managers and colleagues value the level of energy, organization and attention to detail which she brings to every project.
At JumpStart, Twyla is responsible for developing, coordinating and managing the budget, logistics and administrative details for internal and external events designed to support the organization’s mission and core values. In addition, she works closely with the Marketing Manager to manage and provide support for day-to-day marketing request. She is also responsible for preparing, managing and tracking timelines and budgets.
Her most recent position was with the YWCA Greater Cleveland, where she was the Manager of Event Operations and Logistics. In that role she led and managed projects and teams to develop, cultivate and engage the community through fundraising events, social justice work and women’s leadership programming.
Twyla is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a BS in Apparel Merchandising and Product Development. She was fortunate to study Apparel Advertising & Marketing Communication at the renowned Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, graduating from FIT with honors. Always looking for her next challenge, Twyla is currently pursuing her MBA at Bowling Green State University, with an expected graduation date in 2018.
