Tim Austin is a sales and marketing professional with more than 25 years of experience. Currently, he is Vice President of Sales for Group Management Services, Inc. (GMS), where he has greatly contributed to office expansion and helped build a sales department of more than 30 sales professionals
At GMS, Tim is responsible for all sales and marketing functions including development of sales processes from call to close, sales manuals, recruiting procedures, hiring practices, office development, compensation plans, sales rep and sales management expectation/ quotas and personal sales.
Prior to GMS, Tim was recruited as one of the first 16 sales representatives for Valera Pharmaceuticals, a startup that concentrated on the development, acquisition and commercialization of products for the treatment of urological and endocrine issues, before being purchased by Indevus Pharmaceuticals in 2006.
Tim holds a B.B.A. from Kent State University, where he also currently teaches as an Adjunct Professor. He also holds his master’s in Business from Cleveland State University.
