Nick is a communications professional with 15 years of experience across a diverse range of disciplines including print journalism, public relations, technical writing, content marketing and non-profit strategic communications.
As a member of the JumpStart marketing team, he is responsible for the conceptualization and production of a variety of organizational content including thought leadership pieces, video scripts, broadcast emails, website content, collateral materials and press announcements. He also assists with media relations and helps JumpStart’s portfolio and client companies create and market their own content.
Prior to joining JumpStart, Nick spent several years with the ACLU of Ohio, working on issues like voting rights, LGBTQ equality and criminal justice reform. Before that, he worked as a staff reporter and columnist at the Mount Vernon News, one of Ohio’s last remaining independently-owned daily newspapers. Outside JumpStart, he has served as a volunteer production coordinator for TEDxCLE, a member of the editors team for Cleveland’s 2016 Republican National Convention Host Committee and he works as a freelance photographer/special projects writer.
Nick holds a bachelor’s in Communication from Wittenberg University.
