Megan Albert supports all areas of JumpStart’s Advancement department, including prospect research, review and list management and writing thorough, thoughtful and compelling grants and grant reports for all audiences, including the State of Ohio, national foundations and federal agencies, local foundations and other audiences.
Megan has nearly 10 years of advancement experience that began in philanthropy with Dominion East Ohio Gas Foundation. Prior to JumpStart, she served as a Grants Manager for Open Doors Academy and a Grant Writer for CHN Housing Partners, where she raised nearly $2M in funds through corporate, family and government grants. She enjoys prospect research and working collaboratively with team members to develop fundable programs and persuasive proposals.
Megan received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Kent State University and participates in the Greater Cleveland Chapter of the Grant Professional Association.
