Kathryn S. Motiska is a principal consultant at Financial Management Consulting and also serves as an adjunct professor of accounting at Notre Dame College, where she teaches managerial cost accounting, federal taxation, and advanced accounting. As a financial consultant, Kathryn has worked in decision support, planning and budgeting, new initiative analysis, activity-based cost model creation, post-acquisition financial management, and controllership activities.
Prior to her current roles, Kathryn served as IT project coordinator, assistant vice president of budget and cost, manager of accounting services, and manager of financial analysis for a variety of companies such as H&R Block, CardTech Inc. and Hewlett-Packard’s Electronic Data Systems. During her time at HP, Kathryn worked to develop a 5-year strategic plan, purchased over $1,000,000 of capital assets and grew revenue over 30%.
Kathryn holds a MBA in finance from Boston University and a BSBA in accounting from John Carroll University. She is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the national Jesuit honorary, and the first president of the New Leaders of the City Club of Cleveland.
