Dan Rose is an experienced angel investor, board member and entrepreneur in the interactive and database marketing fields with specialized knowledge in sales and marketing, managing rapid growth, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, business or practice area startups and leveraging culture as a sustainable competitive advantage.
Dan has created, operated, grown and successfully exited 4 separate marketing technology companies – both strategic and private equity placements and is an active member of both North Coast Angels and Alpine Capital. He also holds equity positions with another 15 early stage companies.
Dan currently serves as an Instructor at I-Corps Ohio, a statewide program to assist faculty and graduate students from Ohio universities and colleges to validate the market potential of their technologies and assist with launching startup companies. In this role, Dan instructs researchers and graduate students using the National Science Foundation’s I-Corps methodologies.
A former Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and member of Cleveland’s 40 under 40, Dan received his BA in Telecommunications from Indiana University in 1986 and continually receives advanced education in technology-related topics.
