Progressive Joins Plug And Play Cleveland’s Innovation Platform

Plug and Play Cleveland has landed a big new player.

The business accelerator in a news release on Wednesday, June 27, announced that Progressive Insurance has joined what the organization calls its Innovation Platform. It said Progressive “will participate as a dual partner” in both Cleveland and the Insurtech program at Plug and Play headquarters in Silicon Valley, and it will use the platform “to evaluate cutting-edge insurance technologies.”

Andrew Quigg, chief strategy officer at Mayfield Village-based Progressive, said in a statement, “We’re looking forward to collaborating with startups in the insurance space to learn and better understand the different opportunities which they bring. Our goal as a company is to continue to grow and joining Plug and Play … will enable us to explore new and innovative options.”

Progressive is the first insurance company to join the Cleveland outpost of Plug and Play.
