JumpStart promotes Teleangé Thomas to chief operations and relationships officer

Nonprofit business development organization JumpStart Inc. of Cleveland has promoted Teleangé Thomas to the newly created position of chief operations and relationships officer.

In the new post, Thomas will oversee JumpStart’s operational functions including advancement, human resources, marketing and data systems. Additionally, she will continue to cultivate partnerships and lead initiatives across Northern Ohio, advancing our mission to transform communities by unlocking the full potential of entrepreneurship.

Thomas, who has nearly 20 years of experience in public health, nonprofit management and philanthropy, joined JumpStart in December 2020 as chief advancement and relationships officer. She came to JumpStart from Candid, which was formed in 2019 when the Foundation Center and GuideStar joined to create data infrastructure for the social sector. Thomas previously worked in leadership and management positions at the Sisters of Charity Foundation, University Hospitals and the city of Cleveland’s Department of Public Health.
