You might have a sense that intellectual property (IP) is important to the success of your business, but can you explain how? Do you know what comprises IP or how it can be leveraged to become a competitive advantage?

Tune in to the next edition of the COSE WebEd webinar on July 25 for an interactive presentation featuring Mark Guinto, intellectual property attorney at the McDonald Hopkins law firm in Cleveland, who will:

• Provide a primer on different types of IP (i.e., patents, trade secrets, copyright protection and trademarks)
• Discuss what it takes to obtain protection
• Identify potential strategies for using your IP for the benefit of your business
• Provide helpful resources for future use
