All businesses have intellectual property in one form or another. Protecting that IP is important, but it can also be expensive. With startups especially, every dollar matters. Therefore, deciding whether and how to spend funds on IP protection is a key question that should be answered in the early stages of every new business. The Tolloty Technology Center of Kent State University at Tuscarawas in New Philadelphia will host a program on intellectual property protection, covering inventions, patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
Jacob M. Ward, Registered Patent Attorney with the law firm of Fraser Clemens Martin & Miller, LLC, will present the seminar. All businesses have intellectual property in one form or another. Entrepreneurs and business leaders interested in learning more about this important topic are encouraged to attend.
