Greater Cleveland Partnership members are invited to a Morning Conversation with Jeffrey Johnson, chief of the Minority Business Development Division of the Development Services Agency.

Johnson was named division director in 2015. He is responsible for leading the state’s efforts to help develop and grow minority-owned businesses in Ohio. He works closely with the Ohio Minority Business Advisory Council and seven Minority Business Assistance Centers around the state to support the agency’s efforts.
Previously, Johnson was vice president, government and nonprofit lending at JP Morgan & Chase, where he provided expertise on bonds, loans and tax credits. He has more than 20 years’ experience in business banking along with 15 years’ experience working with government municipalities and community organizations.
Johnson is also active in his community, where he has served as a board member of the New Albany Joint Park District, New Albany Plain Local School District and the Columbus Urban League.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and a master’s of business administration from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business
