Kate Volzer, CEO of Wisr

Kate has spent her career working in higher education and higher education technology. She began as an undergraduate admissions officer at the University of Chicago reading and reviewing applications, planning major open houses and yield programs, and upgrading the visitor experience. Today she translates those experiences and sets the strategy for how Wisr supports colleges and universities making the shift to hybrid enrollment and recruitment models. She has earned her BA and MBA from the University of Chicago. Kate has been featured in Cleveland Crain’s 40 under 40 and Notable Women in Entrepreneurship and is a YWCA Distinguished Young Woman. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her niece, woodworking, cooking, and mentoring.
