Visit Hiram College’s East Hall Forum every Wednesday evening for an hour or two of stimulating conversation with entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial thinkers! If you have ever wondered how businesses or organizations get started, here’s the chance to find out.
Each Wednesday an entrepreneur will tell their story. Some of these entrepreneurs may be well seasoned; some may be just starting out. Hear how they did it, what they did right, what they might do differently and what they might do next!
This week:
Work Smarter. Adapt Faster. Grow Stronger. with Jon Stahl, Co-Founder and President, LeanDog , Inc.
In 2008, Jon left a large insurance company to found LeanDog, Inc., a software company that helps businesses compete and thrive through cutting edge technology design and consulting. Operating out of a floating office – a 120-year old steamship docked on Lake Erie – isn’t the only unusual thing about LeanDog. Stahl’s company follows the Agile Manifesto for software development, which values individuals and interaction over processes and tools. They also participate in local conferences, host events and emphasis the company’s broad role in the community. Come hear how Jon and his company are leading the pack to think big and solve hard problems!
