Visit Hiram College’s East Hall Forum every Wednesday evening for an hour or two of stimulating conversation with entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial thinkers!  If you have ever wondered how businesses or organizations get started, here’s the chance to find out.

Each Wednesday an entrepreneur will tell their story.  Some of these entrepreneurs may be well seasoned; some may be just starting out.  Hear how they did it, what they did right, what they might do differently and what they might do next!

Envisioning Success! with Mark Logan ‘60, Co-Founder, President and CEO, TearSolutions, Inc.

Mark turned his broad liberal arts education into a very successful career in the pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical device industries.  Early in his career he raised money for biomedical research, worked for a pharmaceutical company, and was a consultant to the American Diabetes Association. From 1994-2001 he served as Chairman, President and CEO of VISX, Inc., a pioneer in the design and development of technology and systems for laser vision correction.  Although officially retired, Mark has partnered with University of Virginia start-up TearSolutions to bring an all-new treatment for dry eye to market. Come hear Mark’s amazing story!
