Join DigitalC and Microsoft for a 90 minute Excel Lunch & Learn May 23rd, 12-1: 30 pm. Learn tips and tricks on how to more effectively use Excel as a tool in your everyday work. You will have the opportunity to partake in hands-on training from Microsoft Civic Tech Fellows and ask questions you have on collection and analysis of your organization’s data.
The session includes lunch and focuses on Charts, Graphs, and visualizations in Excel. Come enjoy lunch in a supportive, casual environment at the MidTown Tech Hive. Email Gretchen Mason with any further questions.
More about the instructors:
Jarryd Huntley, a Civic Tech Fellow at Microsoft, is a local technologist who has been working in IT for nearly a decade. After graduating with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Akron he has worked at a number of local enterprises, startups, and volunteering at a number of local meetup groups and special events. He also plays important roles in Cleveland’s growing game development scene as both an academic by teaching game development at Lorain County Community College, and as an independent game developer through his newly formed studio.
Taylor Henschel is a Master of Science student in User Experience Design, and he received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati. Taylor’s background is in government and politics and for the past three years, he served at Cleveland City Council. Taylor is civic technology advocate and acting convener of the Cleveland Civic Tech and Open Data Collaborative. He began his Civic Engagement Fellowship with Microsoft in January.
