Today’s workplace often features at least three different generations of employees attempting to interact with one another. The differences in the way these three generations think about the world around them can create real challenges in the workplace—but also new opportunities to learn and grow from one another.
Join us for an event that moves past easy generational stereotypes like entitled millennial, or technology-hating baby boomer—focusing instead on what motivates individual employees and how to leverage those different motivations to build stronger teams.
Food & beverages will be provided by The Wine Spot.
Part I: Let’s Talk Culture: Moving Beyond Generational Differences
Hosted by Thrive at Work
We’ve heard a lot about the differences among generations at work. Beyond those superficial differences, we have a lot more in common at work than we think. When we shift the question from overcoming differences to growing a thriving culture for all of us, we start to understand we all want the same things:
- To show up and do work that matters
- To have meaningful connections with the people we work with
- To be valued for our contributions
- To learn and grow as people and professionals
Innovation, retention and attraction thrive when generations thrive together. Join us for an event that moves past easy generational stereotypes like entitled millennial, or technology-hating baby boomer—focusing instead what motivates individual employees and how to leverage those different and shared motivations to build stronger teams.
