StartMart is thrilled to announce our first creative collaborator and showcasing artist, Jordan Wong. This Spring, Jordan’s showcase, PRECISELY + EXACTLY, will illuminate our 35,000 square foot coworking space in Terminal Tower with vibrancy and creativity. As a community of diverse and motivated entrepreneurs, freelancers, educators, students, and much more, StartMart is excited to partner with a local artist and welcome more of the Cleveland community into our space.

Jordan Wong (WONGFACE) is a graphic designer, illustrator, and artist living in Cleveland, Ohio. He works closely with those who have needs in branding, print design, illustration, and social media. Since moving to Cleveland in 2015, Jordan has started his own business, shown artwork throughout the city, become AIGA Cleveland’s Community Outreach Director, and assumed the role of design partner at the art organization SPACES. From minimal, abstract sentiments to more illustrative designs, he draws inspiration from his experiences as an Asian American and his nostalgic love for cartoons, comics, and video games.

PRECISELY + EXACTLY is an art showcase that will feature the two series FIVE and HARMONY & HOOPLA from Jordan Wong. These illustrative works depict the artist’s abstract musings, everyday appreciations, imaginative fascinations, and faintly familiar cultural philosophies through the approach of automatic drawing – letting the subconscious guide the hand in the creation of lines and shapes.
