The Bunker Labs Columbus road show continues up to Cleveland! Senator Frank LaRose will be giving a keynote speech to kick it off, highlighting the role of military veterans in the local business community! Prior to entering public office, Senator LaRose served in the 101st Airborne as well as in the U.S. Special Forces. He is a major advocate for Ohio small businesses, and sponsored Senate Bill 3 – legislation which reduces regulatory barriers for small businesses which was signed into law by Governor Kasich in June 2014.

Following the keynote, you will engage in the main event – a panel discussion about the experiences and challenges of starting and growing a small business. Panel members are all military veterans who now run successful small businesses in the greater Cleveland area: Steve Downey, owner and founder of UTusk; Traci Fisher, owner and founder of Total Customized Fitness; and Karl Spiesman, owner and founder of Brick & Barrel Brewing.

Additionally, there will be a group of individuals representing the SBA, the SBDC, and others experienced in areas such as small business law and franchises ready to answer your questions.
