Disease Diagnostic Group

Disease Diagnostic Group is a for-profit social venture firm that offers a low-cost, portable malaria diagnostic device to the WHO’s purchasing agencies (The Global Fund and The World Bank).

Current diagnostics are slow, expensive, require supplementary products that limit its reach and storage, and give wrongful diagnoses. This causes inefficiencies in treatment, meaning wasted dollars, jeopardized lives and increased resistance. Disease Diagnostic Group solves this problem by offering a reusable mechanical device that is 50 times faster, a quarter of the cost, more accurate, standalone and scalable through a plastic consumable.
