A foundation named for the the founder of wall-covering manufacturer RJF International of Fairlawn has given $1 million to nonprofit JumpStart Inc., which promotes entrepreneurism.

''This is a very significant gift for us,'' said Cathy Belk, spokeswoman for JumpStart Inc., noting the amount equals about 10 percent of the nonprofit's annual budget.
