Venture development group JumpStart Inc. has received a $1 million grant from the Richard J. Fasenmyer Foundation of Fairlawn.
The grant is the first that the foundation, founded in 1991 by the late Richard J. Fasenmyer, has given under its new philanthropic mission of supporting entrepreneurship and free enterprise. The foundation gave the grant to JumpStart because it is helping high-tech companies that one day could create a significant number of new jobs in Northeast Ohio, foundation CEO John Baechle said in a news release...
