The 3 Rivers Venture Fair no longer belongs to Pittsburgh alone.
This year’s edition of the venture capital fair — which typically draws more than 100 investors looking for companies to finance — will have a strong Cleveland presence even though it will be held two hours southeast of our city at PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
For one, a Clevelander is one of the main organizers this year: Ray Leach, CEO of Cleveland venture development organization JumpStart Inc., will serve as co-chair of the event alongside Richard Lunak, who heads up Innovation Works, the Pittsburgh organization after which JumpStart was modeled...
