Andrea Trgovcich has been actively pursuing the resources needed to grow Wellness Integrated Network, a comprehensive approach to individualized nutrition needs, with support from Youngstown Business Incubator, Innovation Fund and JumpStart. “[JumpStart’s] Johnny Hutton was my go-to man when I was the only employee,” says Trgovcich. While Johnny helped her with a business plan, presentations and meetings, Trgovcich believes the best thing he did was connect her with the company’s new CEO, Bert Gray.
Finding the right people and partners has been one of Andrea’s biggest challenges. “It’s hard to have a big concept like this and be out there by yourself,” she says. But, when entrepreneurs have the tools and backup in place (much like users supported by Trgovcich’s multifaceted and customized diet compliance system), momentum picks up. “To get the right people believing in my company and coming in and collaborating with me, like my hospital partner and now my CEO, that makes a difference.”
