NaviNet, America's largest real-time healthcare communications network, serving more than 121 million covered lives, and CoverMyMeds, the leader in prior authorization tools for doctors and pharmacies, announced today that they have entered into a strategic partnership to offer a multi-payer solution for electronic drug prior authorizations (ePAs).
Prescribers, clinical staff, and support staff will be able to use NaviNet to respond to ePA requests generated through most U.S. pharmacies. Support for prescription drug prior authorizations is offered as an extension of NaviNet's medical prior authorization process.
