LaunchHouse, a lean business accelerator in Shaker Heights, has partnered with IngenuityFest, the Cleveland festival of Creativity and Technology, in order to showcase entrepreneurship in Northeast Ohio, September 14-16, 2012.
LaunchHouse recently launched the LaunchHouse Accelerator (LHX), experiential and mentorship driven program, in which 10 technology startup companies will receive a $25,000 investment in order to rapidly develop their businesses to ultimately enter market at the end of the 12-week period.
In conjunction with the LHX program and IngenuityFest, companies will demonstrate their technology, network with potential customers and simply enjoy the festival.
With more than 40,000 Clevelanders expected, LaunchHouse invites attendees to stop by the 50 foot by 50 foot interactive, entrepreneurial hotspot of IngenuityFest. This is a great way for the Cleveland community to meet the up and coming LHX companies, play with new technologies, and party for entrepreneurship.
Quick2LAUNCH, a technology branding company and LHX participant, is hosting a Pitch Your Business Contest in which entrepreneurs and startups pitch business ideas and concepts for a chance to win a free digital media launch kit . The 30 second pitch will be uploaded to the Facebook for users to decide the winner! The digital media launch kit includes a logo, website, business stationery, social media package, and more.
iOTOS, an internet-enabled device company and LHX participant, has developed an innovative, techie twist on the traditional beer tap. The NiOTap leverages internet and mobile technology in which users simply scan a QR code, via mobile device, as a payment process as well as unlocking the tap to automatically pour a perfect size draft beer. The NiOTap is just one example of the “internet of things” technology iOTOS will be showcasing.
Along with the NiOTap, IngenuityFest-goers might experience local food station, dunk tank, gaming lounge, workout equipment, art installments, music and more!
