Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is currently accepting applications from small business owners in Northeast Ohio to enroll in the program. Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is designed to help small businesses create jobs and economic opportunity by providing entrepreneurs with greater access to business education, financial capital and business support services.
Cuyahoga Community College is now accepting applications for classes, which begin in September 2012. Participants can expect to receive a practical business education where the coursework can be applied directly after each session. The program offers access to peer learning, one-on-one business advising and the opportunity to access growth capital.
Applications for eligible small business owners will be accepted by Cuyahoga Community College until Monday, July 2. Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is designed for business owners with limited resources who have a business poised for growth. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to growing their business and creating jobs within their community. Business owners eligible to apply for the program should generally have been in business for two years or more; typically have at least four employees and a revenue stream of $150K to $4 million per year.
