SironRX Therapeutics is developing novel therapies that promote dermal wound repair and reduce scarring. The company's therapeutic platform is based on the delivery of Stromal cell-Derived Factor 1 (SDF-1), which has been shown to promote tissue repair by recruiting stem cells to the damaged organ. SDF-1 has also been shown to prevent cell death and promote new blood vessel formation.
