Cleveland companies hope 2016 Republican National Convention will bring them business

When 50,000 people come here for the Republican National Convention next summer, Catheryn Greene hopes at least some of them will have a sweet tooth.
Greene is the owner of Cathy's Creamery, which she said will sell gourmet ice cream sandwiches once it opens in the Warehouse District next month. She plans to pursue opportunities to cater events for the RNC, and also hopes that conventioneers will wander over to her shop during their down time.
