JumpStart Inc., Northeast Ohio's entrepreneurial development and funding organization, has committed to investing as much as $1,230,000 into five area companies in its first major round of funding.

U.S. Rep. Steven C. LaTourette (R-Concord) was joined on Friday October 22nd, by David A. Sampson, Assistant Secretary for Economic Development at the U.S. Department of Commerce, to announce several grants in EDA bill, S. 1134.

JumpStart Inc., Northeast Ohio's entrepreneurial development and funding organization, met with U.S. Secretary of the Treasury John W.Snow. Secretary Snow who had heard about JumpStart Inc. on a previous visit to Northeast Ohio had promised to return to find out more about the nonprofit entrepreneurial assistance organization.
