How Did JumpStart TechLift Advisors get Started?
JumpStart TechLift Advisors, previously known as TechLift, was formed when NorTech spearheaded a successful proposal in 2007 to the State of Ohio’s Third Frontier Entrepreneurial Signature Program. The Third Frontier is a 10-year, $1.6 billion initiative which represents Ohio’s largest ever commitment to expand high-tech research and technology commercialization, to build technology-based businesses, and to generate high paying jobs.
The integration of “TechLift” as part of JumpStart is one step towards a more seamless entrepreneurial support network, and makes it easier for high growth entrepreneurs in Northeast Ohio to access entreprenurial resources.
When technology entrepreneurs want to access resources, they simply engage with JumpStart by completing an Advisory Request.
