Federal Grants for Start-Up Companies

BioEnterprise, in partnership with TechLift, is offering a two-part workshop series on Federal Grants for Start-Up Companies. Part One: Informational Workshop and Part Two: Intensive Grant Preparation Workshop + One-on-One Consulting will help you learn the inner workings of federal grants.

It is with pleasure that we announce The 2008 Ohio Business Women’s Conference & Expo at the acclaimed Cleveland Marriott Downtown Key Center on Friday, May 16, 2008. This event, presented by the Hispanic Business Association, promises to be the largest event of its kind in the region for women in business. A sell out crowd is expected to attend and participate in the daylong event.
The NASA Glenn Business Opportunity Forum will teach you how to become a NASA supplier, subcontractor or service provider; license NASA technology; apply for Small Business Innovation Research contracts; and build partnerships and collaborations with NASA. This is a daylong educational program with plenty to offer!

The Akron-Summit County Public Library is please to present Invent-a-Palooza: a day of education and fun for inventors, entrepreneurs and families on Saturday, May 17, 2008. This daylong event provides information for the independent inventor on patenting their invention and resources for starting or expanding their business. All events and activities are free.
TechSync is a celebration of technology companies in Greater Cleveland to inspire and accelerate growth. TechSync was created from the Red Room Revolution, an organization set up to launch and accelerate progressive economic growth in Greater Cleveland through information technology transformation.
This workshop will provide you with an overview of the requirements of an adequate accounting system and information on how to insure your accounting system is found to be adequate when audited by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).
