JumpStart has many meaningful opportunities to support your charitable giving interests. Opportunities are available for designating special gifts, unrestricted giving and partnering with JumpStart to support charitable giving.
Please note, gifts of $1000 or more may be designated to any one of the following funds. Gifts of less than $1000 will be applied to JumpStart’s General Unrestricted Fund.
General Unrestricted Fund:
Gifts to the General Unrestricted Fund provide annual support to JumpStart and enable it to continue its mission to accelerate the growth of early stage businesses and ideas into venture-ready companies by providing vital, focused resources to entrepreneurs and the community of Northeast Ohio.
As the most flexible of funds for use by JumpStart, Unrestricted Funds allow JumpStart management to effectively respond to the changing needs of the entrepreneurial community in a timely and globally competitive fashion. These critical resources provide the vital day-to-day support for program and/or investment priorities.
JumpStart Evergreen Investment Fund:
Your gift to the JumpStart Evergreen Investment Fund provides a unique charitable gift opportunity which directly supports investments in companies.100% of any returns on dollars invested by JumpStart are reinvested in new entrepreneurial endeavors throughout the region.
Since JumpStart does not have any limited partners, only grantors whose focus is on economic development in Northeast Ohio, your investment in the Evergreen Fund has the potential to provide a legacy spanning multiple decades and companies. Through your generous support, the investment JumpStart makes in an entrepreneur today may enable it to become the company that employs your children or grandchildren tomorrow.
Operations Fund:
Of equal importance to the investments we make, we provide intensive mentoring support from our team of incredibly qualified Entrepreneurs/Executives-in-Residence. These professionals are assigned to each company to provide guidance and to help ensure that key business development milestones are met. Our capacity to provide this incredibly vital service is only limited by our ability to sufficiently fund the required staffing levels.
Opportunities are available to establish endowed positions and special programs. Your gift to JumpStart's Operations Fund provides critical resources to support the intensive one-on-one business acceleration services to our client entrepreneurs.
Marketing Programs:
JumpStart works to build greater appreciation of the importance of entrepreneurship to our regional economy and supports social networks that will increase the number of successful entrepreneurial opportunities. Donating to this fund will support the annual operations of JumpStart Exchange (JSX) events, which may include: intimate (invitation only) events, large-scale (public) events,speakers series, research partnerships or general marketing and communications activities that span all JumpStart education, outreach and social networking activities.
