JumpStart's clients are early-stage companies/ideas in Northeast Ohio that are considered to have strong potential to become high-growth businesses.
- Early stage is defined as $0 to $10 million in current revenues.
- "High-growth" means that the company has a solid plan for reaching $30 to $50 million in annual revenues within five to seven years. This plan is believable because the company has/addresses:
- A protected technology and/or highly differentiated sales and marketing plan
- A $1B potential market for its product/service
- A passionate, committed management team, with experience in the industry in question
We define Northeast Ohio as the 21 county region including Ashland, Ashtabula, Carroll, Columbiana, Crawford, Cuyahoga, Erie, Geauga, Holmes, Huron, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Richland, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, Tuscarawas, and Wayne counties.
