Richard E. "Duke" Jankura
Chief Financial Officer
Duke Jankura provides overall financial and administrative oversight to JumpStart, including its computer and telecommunications systems, accounting functions, financial systems, and internal controls. Prior to JumpStart Inc.'s formation in January 2004, he was the Sr. Director, Finance and Administration for Enterprise Development, Inc. (EDI). Duke is a National Development Council certified Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP), and holds a BS in business administration in management and an MBA in corporate finance from the University of Hartford, CT. Prior to joining EDI, Duke was the Manager of Financial Analysis for McDonald Investments Private Client Group and the Controller for Key Investments in Cleveland. He worked as a Financial Analyst in corporate banking and budget at Society Corporation and as a Marketing Analyst at The Travelers Companies in Hartford. Duke also served as a logistics officer in the United States Marine Corps. He served as the chairperson for the Old Brooklyn/Brooklyn Centre Business Revitalization District Review Board until June 2005, and served as Treasurer on the board of trustees for the Old Brooklyn Community Development Corporation from 1999 to 2002. He was Co-President in 1996 of the Young Friends of the Cleveland Museum of Art, serving as an ex-officio member of the museum's board of trustees.
Joseph Minadeo, CPA
Controller
Joe brings over 30 years of experience in the securities, banking and investment banking arenas. He has served as CFO for a large regional securities and investment banking firm, an emergency care medical company, and KeyCorp's Section 20 broker/dealer. He has also served as Treasurer for McDonald Securities and for Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company. He has been involved in the due diligence process for many IPOs and corporate acquisitions. Joe received a BBA with a major in Accounting from Case Western Reserve University.
Ben Keller
Director of Information Technology
Ben Keller supports the technology needs of JumpStart and its sister organization - NorTech, which cohabitates at the same location with JumpStart. Prior to JumpStart, Ben served for eight years as the Program Director for JumpStart's predecessor organization, Enterprise Development, Inc (EDI), where he managed fundraising and recognition events including The Weatherhead 100, NorTech Innovation Awards, and the annual EntreProNeur Links Golf Outing. Ben graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a BS in Mathematics and a BM in Music (Cello) and continues his work on the side as a chamber musician.
Carlos Carrasquillo
IT Coordinator
Carlos brings comprehensive IT support to both JumpStart and its sister organization in the building. Before joining the team full time, he spent two years as an IT intern with JumpStart. Carlos also has over three years experience working in the banquet department at the InterContinental Hotel in Cleveland. There he was responsible for equipment setup for corporate meetings, large conferences and several other types of events. He is currently seeking a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems through the Lakeland Community College partnership with Cleveland State University.
Rebecca Kral
Administrator
Becky comes to us most recently from ProCare Automotive Service Solutions LLC in Independence, OH. At ProCare, Becky was the Legal/Executive Administrative Assistant and her duties included preparation of documents involving ProCare's real estate transactions. Prior to ProCare, Becky worked for JumpStart’s predecessor, Enterprise Development, Inc (EDI). Becky received her Associates degree from Cuyahoga Community College with an emphasis in Business.
