Darrin Redus
President, JumpStart Inclusion Advisors
Darrin joins the JumpStart team having served most recently as Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Redus Small Business Advisors, LLC, a strategic planning and management assistance firm Darrin established in 2003. Prior to establishing his own consulting group, Darrin dedicated 16 years to the commercial banking and finance industry holding a series of senior level management positions with National City Corporation and KeyCorp. At National City, Darrin served the small and middle market business community, providing leadership and support to enterprises ranging from start-ups to international firms with up to $100 million in annual revenues. At KeyCorp, Darrin held the position of Senior Vice President in charge of the companys business banking operations for Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. Darrin holds an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College and an undergraduate degree from Mount Union College. In 1999 he was selected by National City Bank and Baldwin Wallace College as an Emerging Leader in the Cleveland community, and over the past 15 years has led a series of workshops and seminars on matters of economic development and diversity. Johnny L. Hutton, Jr.
Vice President, JumpStart Inclusion Advisors
Johnny brings a wealth of entrepreneurial, business development, and project management experience to the JumpStart Inclusion Advisors team. He is an experienced executive and serial entrepreneur with more than 19 years of business consulting, software, hospitality, information technology and construction industry start-up leadership experience. Most recently, Johnny founded MTH Consulting, a management and business development firm that served companies in Cleveland and Columbus for five years. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Senior Advisor for Redus Small Business Advisors, LLC (RSBA) where he worked with small to mid-sized companies focused on strategic planning and management assistance. Johnny also launched a series of other start-ups, including JL HuttonCustom Cabinets and Renovations LLC, a residential and commercial construction and management company operating in Cleveland and Nashville, and HESS LLC, an environmental solutions firm combining alternative energy solutions with advanced environmental systems technology. He was a member of the management team and ultimately the corporate team of Morton’s of Chicago, launching new restaurants for the national chain in Nashville and San Francisco. Before Morton’s, Johnny launched his first company, HB Concepts Inc., a graphic design and marketing firm targeting small to mid-sized businesses. Johnny attended Morehouse College in Atlanta.
