IdeaCrossing (www.ideacrossing.org) is a free Internet resource available to all individuals and organizations with an interest in supporting and promoting entrepreneurial activity. IdeaCrossing helps entrepreneurs find the assistance and investment capital they need to launch promising new business ventures. Additionally, IdeaCrossing serves the Angel and Venture Capital communities by identifying and screening new investment opportunities. Simply stated, IdeaCrossing is about creating the connections that build businesses.
TechLift (www.techlift.org) provides high value entrepreneurial expertise to dramatically accelerate the growth of early-stage companies in Northeast Ohio’s five signature technologies (advanced materials, biosciences, electronics, information and communication technologies, and advanced energy). TechLift’s experts assist entrepreneurs with a wide range of strategic and operational needs, including providing access to capital and funding sources. TechLift also provides entrepreneurial programs, such as grant-writing workshops. TechLift was created via the State of Ohio’s Third Frontier Project’s Entrepreneurial Signature Program, designed to significantly increase positive technology-based entrepreneurial commercialization outcomes.
